Server logs

The site is hosted in Switzerland. Like any web server, we keep access and error logs. That includes your IP address, the time of the request, the requested URL, the referring page and your browser’s user agent. These logs are used for statistics and are not used to track or profile anyone.

Cookies and tracking

There are no cookies, no tracking scripts and no third-party analytics. The blog loads nothing from third parties. Links to other sites, like YouTube or GitHub, are plain links that only contact those sites when you click them.

Tools

The tools on this site run entirely in your browser. Some of them save your work in your browser’s local storage. That data stays on your device and is never sent anywhere; clearing this site’s data in your browser deletes it. Share links carry their data after the # in the URL, which browsers never send to the server.
